CASA&VIDEO opens a new store in RJ with RR electronic labels
On this coming Friday, February 3, 2012, at 10 a.m., CASA&VIDEO RJ will open their third store in pacified communities of Rio de Janeiro, at Alemão.
To mark out the beginning of 2012, the company will deliver one more store concept that is distinguished and adjusted to the needs of local consumers. The new unit will be located within an area of 200m², larger than the mini stores of Dona Marta and Mangueira.
With the same assortment of products of a traditional store, it optimizes space use for not displaying the inventory of products that require electricity to operate, such as TV sets, DVDs and fans. CASA&VIDEO of Alemão will be the pioneer department store in Rio to use electronic tags, provided by RR Etiquetas – an innovative action in the Rio de Janeiro market.
Initially, the store will have 16 employees, out of which 15 being relocated from other units and one living in the community. In association with Afro Reggae, an employment project will soon be launched, increasing involvement of residents of the communities in the store personnel.
“CASA&VIDEO arrives at Alemão to legitimate the integration between community and society”, says the Regional Manager of Stores, Paulo Roberto. “We expect to offer consumption goods at fair prices, just like we do in all other units.”
The opening schedule includes a participation of Afro Reggae, with performance of band Tribo Negra, composed of students from the Waly Salomão Cultural Center, who will perform for half-hour before they open to the public.
